We can't promise to keep your hands warm as the seasons change, but we can keep your paws feeling fresh with our all-new Loam Grip. We packed this grip full of features, like an ultra tacky compound and ergonomic pattern to support your palms and help relieve any fatigue caused by trail chatter and long days in the saddle.
The Loam Grip features two contrasting patterns, and these dueling motifs play an important ergonomic role. Thin strips run horizontally across the grip's surface for enhanced traction and supple feel, while the thicker mountain pattern helps support the pad of your hand. Beefing up this outer zone with a heartier design combats compound deterioration, ensures the grip is absorbing more vibration, and provides needed structure to support the additional body weight pressing down on this area.
The Loam Grip was purpose-built for Enduro/Trail riding, and with that in mind, picking the compound was extremely important. We needed to identify a blend that was soft enough to absorb vibration, yet firm enough to keep its shape under pressure. We call this the "happy camper" blend because it strikes a balance between an ultra-soft material that wears too quickly and a harder compound that provides no tactile benefits.

Ergon's GA2 All-Mountain / Gravity grip has superb tactile feel thanks to a super-soft, UV stable rubber compound exclusively developed and manufactured in Germany for Ergon. The ergonomic shape requires less rider grip pressure while specific grip zones matched to the shape of the hand increase tactile feedback and traction. The inner construction varies in thickness to allow greater damping, which results in less ulnar nerve stress. The inboard aluminum clamp holds grips securely, allows even more grip area at the end of the bars, and makes these grips carbon-bar friendly.

Why not combine the best? With the GA3, the winged grip has proven its genius to the All-Mountain world. The special thing about the GP1's off-road cousin is, he locks on tight with a lightweight inner clamp. The concept combines all the relief benefits of the wing and actively supports your wrist. Your freedom of movement and the accompanying bike control remains fully intact. Riding pleasure guaranteed!
What exactly are the benefits of the wings on the grips?
The longer a ride is, the harder it is for a rider to maintain the ergonomically correct hand position on the bike. As a result, riders often bend their wrists too much, stressing nerves and tendons and inhibiting blood circulation. Numbness and pain in your hands are often the undesirable consequences. The GA3 grip optimizes the hand position through the Miniwings and prevents over-bending in your wrist.
What is the carpal tunnel?
The carpal tunnel is an anatomic passage in your wrist for nerves and tendons running from the lower arm to the hand. If the wrist is bent too much the nerves become constricted, which often leads to pain and numbness.
The GA3 with Miniwing is based on the well-established and proven design of the MTB-specific GA2 grips. The particular shape of the grips provides you with great comfort and grip, without compromising the freedom of movement. This allows you to have all the control you need to tackle the most demanding of trails with full confidence.
As an ergonomically perfected expansion of the GA-series by Ergon, the primary purpose GA3 grips is to provide relief out in the trail. But, they're not only perfect for the MTB category, they are also ideal on fitness-oriented and urban bikes.
The ergonomic winged-grip GA3 is available in five striking colors. Ergon grips don't just feel great, they look great, too!

Pain-free on the Bike
- Many grips look ergonomic but have no real effect and can cause pain or even injury, such as carpal tunnel syndrome due to incorrect pressure distribution or misalignment of the hand. That's why you should trust the market leader. The Ergon GP3 Evo has been thought out to the smallest detail by a team of experts. Its numerous ergonomic features are designed to prevent pain and irritation in the palm and wrists or numbness in the fingers and discomfort in the forearms, upper arms as well as in the neck and shoulders.
The integrated Three-Finger Bar End - Relief and Control
- Alternative grip positions not only offer relieve for your hands, but also your entire upper body. The ergonomic three-finger bar ends of the GP3 Evo are fully rubberized and offer effective dampening and even pressure distribution. The bar end angle can be adjusted independently of the grip to give you the desired level of comfort and control.
Relief through homogeneous Pressure Distribution
- Tingling, pain and numbness in the hands are a common consequence of pinched nerves, especially the sensitive ulnar nerve. When cycling, a large part of the body weight rests on the hands. To distribute this highly focused pressure over a larger area, the GP3 Evo is equipped with an ergonomic wing designed to reliably prevent hand pain.
A straight Wrist for less Discomfort
- Pain, numb fingers and carpal tunnel syndrome are the result of compressed tendons, blood vessels and nerves - often caused by a bent wrist when cycling. The GP3 Evo is equipped with an ergonomic wing, which comfortably supports the wrist in a straight position and reliably prevents discomfort, while improving riding control and comfort.
The right Grip Width for every Hand
- To ensure optimum pressure distribution, a grip must match the hand size. To ensure every rider can fully utilize the ergonomic features, Ergon offers the GP3 Evo in sizes S and L, which easily cover most hand sizes.
